Our client is a growing real estate investment and development firm with a focus on high-performing, innovation-driven assets. Their Boston-based portfolio includes state-of-the-art life sciences spaces where operational excellence and client experience are top priorities. Currently, they are looking to add a Commercial Property Manager to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k – $120k
Position Overview:
The Commercial Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of a premier life sciences facility in Boston. This person will serve as the main point of contact for tenants, manage vendors and capital improvements, and ensure the property runs efficiently, safely, and with a hospitality-first approach.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager:
- Oversee operations and tenant experience for a Class A life sciences property.
- Manage vendor contracts, building systems, and preventative maintenance.
- Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and CAM reconciliations.
- Lead capital improvement projects from planning to completion.
- Ensure compliance with lease terms and local regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants and collaborate cross-functionally.
Required Experience/Skills for the Commercial Property Manager:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial property management.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Commercial Property Manager:
- Experience managing life sciences or laboratory facilities.
- Knowledge of the Boston commercial real estate market.
- CPM, RPA, or other relevant certifications.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
