Our client is a real estate investment firm with a dedicated team of professionals who work collaboratively for the success of the organization. They are seeking a Commercial Property Manager to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$105k – $120k+ Depending on experience 

Position Overview:

The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for overseeing project operations, client relations, and improvement management activities. Responsible for assisting in operations, including leasing, improvements, facilities services, new construction, and due diligence activities.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager:

  • Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on the properties’ financial performance, being responsible for the overall operational performance of the property, and participating in meetings with senior management regarding the same.
  • Negotiating with vendors regarding service and construction contracts.
  • Overseeing major repairs and construction projects, including tenant and building improvements.
  • Training, mentoring, and directing the activities of site personnel and evaluating their performance.
  • Communicating with tenants and delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Preparing annual property budgets, including identifying capital improvements.
  • Supervising the invoicing and collection of all rents and other charges.
  • Establishing and monitoring adherence to the properties’ operating policies and procedures. 
  • Ensuring compliance with codes and regulations; recommending legal actions for violations of leases or contracts. 

Required Experience/Skills for the Commercial Property Manager:

  • 8 years of prior experience as a Commercial Property Manager.  
  • Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a multi-tenant office building.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Angus, Yardi, or similar accounting software is required.  

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
