Our client is a growing commercial real estate investment and management firm with a diverse portfolio of retail, industrial, and other property types. The company is led by an entrepreneurial team focused on operational excellence, long-term value creation, and community impact. Currently, they are looking to add to their team by bringing on a Commercial Property Manager.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $100k

Position Overview:

The Commercial Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial properties. This includes oversight of property operations, lease administration, budgeting, financial reporting, and tenant/vendor relationships. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure operational efficiency while contributing to the growth of third-party management services.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned commercial properties.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial and variance reports; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Administer lease agreements and ensure compliance with terms.
  • Develop and manage annual property budgets, including CAM reconciliations.
  • Conduct property inspections, address tenant/landlord concerns, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong tenant, vendor, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Asset Management teams for accurate reporting.
  • Create and refine property management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in marketing property management services to prospective clients.

Required Experience/Skills for the Commercial Property Manager:

  • 6 – 10 years of experience in commercial property management.
  • Strong financial skills, including budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of commercial lease administration and real estate regulations.
  • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi required).
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent tenant/vendor relationship management and customer service abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Commercial Property Manager:

  • Experience with capital projects, leasing analysis, and cash flow projections.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
