Our NYC client is a recognized leader in the financial tech industry. They are seeking an experienced Creative Director to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$145k – $185k base salary + 15% Bonus (performance driven)
Position Overview:
The Creative Director will lead creative strategy through execution across all channels. This is a hands-on creative lead role great for design leaders who are innovative, skilled in producing agency-quality digital and interactive 360 brand initiatives and enjoy inspiring and managing Designers.
Responsibilities of the Creative Director:
- Develop and implement a cohesive 360 brand strategy across all brands, product initiatives spanning all channels.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to define and execute the creative strategy.
- Own creative partner relationships, direction, and deliverables for agency paid media, influencer, advertising, and TV/radio.
- Manage and develop a small Creative team for producing work across multimedia channels – i.e., digital campaigns, paid social, email, web, landing pages, video, TV, corporate decks, marketing materials, brand strategy, and overall visual guidance across channels and marketing materials.
- Develop creative design systems and workflows that allow for agility, technology, and promote business growth.
- Inspire creativity across the organization, partnering with internal teams to drive innovation for brand and product initiatives.
- Stay current with changing digital trends, implement new workflows where needed, and keep the Creative team ahead of the AI technology curve.
Required Experience/Skills for the Creative Director:
- 10 – 15 years of creative design experience across all multimedia channels.
- Creative Director or Senior team lead for 3+ years.
- Portfolios required (360 branding, digital campaigns, motion, website).
- Prior design experience within Financial Services, Fintech, or the Tech industry.
- Skilled in interactive, motion, and video design.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Has directly managed a creative team and agency partner relationships.
- Can solve design & marketing challenges and deliver effectively.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Creative Director:
- Growth marketing design experience is strongly preferred (i.e., retention and bounce rates).
- Skilled in designing for advertising, TV, radio, and broadcast.
- Adept at AI design software.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Marketing, or a similar field is preferred.
