Our client in Manhattan is looking for a Customer Experience Associate to join their team. This temporary opportunity is to help a growing team while they take on high-volume projects. The Customer Experience Associate will provide general customer assistance via phone, chat, and email.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $22/hr

Position overview:

The Customer Experience Associate will assist with high-volume inquiries via phone and in-person, and light email and chat support using CRM software. The Customer Experience Associate should be able to communicate effectively while assisting guests in a friendly and quick manner. They are an individual who is both outgoing and professional and will be helping with product information as well as general inquiries and escalations. At least one year of experience in a customer service role or related field is required.

Responsibilities of the Customer Experience Associate:

  • Directly interact with customers – primarily via inbound and outbound calls, live chat, and email
  • Become a subject matter expert to help guests quickly and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer support and de-escalation
  • Cross-collaborate with team members and share knowledge and experiences
  • Work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple responsibilities at once

Qualifications for the Customer Experience Associate:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in customer experience or backend support roles
  • CRM (Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot) or data entry experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both written and orally
  • Self-starter and able to work autonomously as well as contribute to a collaborative team

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
