Our client, a small marketing firm, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about various functions within the company while providing essential support to ensure excellent customer service.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$60,000 – $65,000
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Assistant will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations and supporting customer inquiries. This Customer Service Assistant position involves tasks ranging from answering phones and directing calls to assisting different teams with ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Assistant:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Assist all teams with ad hoc projects to gain insights into the industry’s operations
- Support the Sales team by preparing marketing materials, updating contacts in Salesforce, and finding new contacts
- Monitor and track web orders to ensure timely processing and shipping
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements for technicians (under guidance of admin coordinator)
- Perform basic office management tasks such as ordering groceries, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness
Qualifications for the Customer Service Assistant:
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative support preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in basic office software (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
