Client Overview:

Our client, an ingredient distributor is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a temp to hire basis.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative will assist the company owner directly in managing customer service-related tasks, such as managing inbound/outbound calls, responding to customer emails, and helping with ad hoc administrative tasks.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Managing inbound calls.
  • Responding to customer emails.
  • Handling mail (incoming and outgoing).

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

  • At least 1 year of Customer Service Representative Experience in a corporate office.
  • Has experience writing professional emails.
  • Has experience speaking with customers by phone.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

  • Manufacturing or Distribution experience.
  • Relationship-driven, goes above and beyond in a customer service representative role.
  • Outgoing and bubbly personality.
  • Comfortable with wearing multiple hats.
  • No task too big or too small attitude (i.e. packing up samples that need to be shipped out and taking to UPS).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
