Our client is a federally regulated financial institution dedicated to providing personalized banking services and fostering community growth. Their mission is to help clients achieve financial wellness through trusted, customer-focused solutions. Currently, they are looking to add a Customer Service Representative to their team.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative responsible for delivering exceptional service by assisting customers with everyday banking transactions, account management, and inquiries about financial products. The role supports branch operations and contributes to a positive customer experience through professionalism, accuracy, and a solutions-focused approach. This is a part-time role with a schedule from Tuesday to Friday,12 pm – 3:30 pm, and Saturdays, 9 am to 12 pm.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • The Customer Service Representative will process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts, including handling account updates, stop payments, wire transfers, and specialized products like IRAs and certificates.
  • Provide timely and professional support through phone, email, and digital messaging platforms.
  • Recommend relevant financial products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
  • The Customer Service Representative is expected to support daily branch operations, including opening/closing procedures, assisting new team members, and coordinating with lending staff on consumer loan applications.

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service Representative: 

  • 1 year of previous banking, customer/teller service experience is required.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Has great attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
