Our client, a local nonprofit with state outreach, is seeking a Director of Finance and Human Resources (Nonprofit). The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and donor relationship management and will play a key role in driving both the financial and operational success of the organization.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k
Position Overview:
The Director of Finance and Human Resources (Nonprofit) will oversee staff, finances, accounting, development, and fundraising efforts while supporting and presenting to the Board of Directors. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential. This leadership position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the local community.
Responsibilities of the Director of Finance and Human Resources (Nonprofit):
- Foster and maintain key relationships with board members, donors, funders, and partners.
- Identify and secure diverse funding sources to support the organization’s operations and long-term growth.
- Oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective resource allocation.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget to align with organizational goals and financial sustainability.
- Produce monthly financial reports, including year-over-year comparisons and budget vs. actual analyses.
- Develop and maintain funding sources, including grants, donors, contracts, and partnerships.
- Set and lead a strategic vision that aligns with the organization’s mission and operational capabilities.
Required Experience/Skills for the Director of Finance and Human Resources (Nonprofit):
- Proven strategic leadership experience in nonprofit financial and operational management.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, grantmakers, and vendors.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for nonprofit management and community impact.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
