Client Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing, digitally native consumer goods company in the lifestyle and home category. The team is known for its collaborative culture, creative innovation, and customer-first mindset. They are now looking for an E-Commerce Site Merchandiser.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21/hr – $24/hr

Position Overview:

The E-Commerce Site Merchandiser is responsible for managing e-commerce merchandising and product launches on Shopify. This role will lead the coordination of product setups, launches, and QA, while working cross-functionally with Creative, Product, and CX teams.

Responsibilities of the E-Commerce Site Merchandiser:

  • Maintain and update all product content in Shopify, including SKUs, POS, pricing, tags, images, and copy.
  • Own the end-to-end process for product launches: briefing teams, coordinating SKUs, updating homepage/navigation, and conducting QA.
  • Create and update Product Listing Pages (PLPs) across the site.
  • Manage timelines and cross-functional communication for asset handoffs and approvals.
  • Track and manage JIRA tickets to ensure timely launch of all assets.
  • Work with Analytics to assess performance of launches and merchandising strategies.

Required Experience/Skills for the E-Commerce Site Merchandiser:

  • Experience managing Shopify product catalogs, including handling SKUs, tags, and content updates.
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the E-Commerce Site Merchandiser:

  • Experience working in e-commerce for a DTC (direct-to-consumer) brand.
  • Familiarity with QA processes for web launches.
  • Background in merchandising, marketing, or site operations.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent.
