They are seeking a Enrollment Specialist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$24.03/hr

Position Overview:

The Enrollment Specialist will speak with prospective members, and provide thorough education on offered member services. Through meeting set target goals, the Enrollment Specialist will succeed by making outbound calls, establishing trust with prospective members and making our client the go-to for quality cancer care.

Responsibilities of the Enrollment Specialist:

  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with members, including listening and empathy with every interaction
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete daily outbound calls to customers, averaging about 80-100 calls
  • Outline supportive services and the ways in which potential customers can be assisted on their cancer journey
  • Adhere strictly to the set-out policies and procedures, ensuring all relevant information is properly documented and any serious member needs are escalated promptly
  • Engage in regular coaching and self-development sessions, implementing feedback and adhering to best practices to meet set quality and productivity targets
  • Educate participants and care givers to understanding the enrollment process and understand support provided through the program
  • Build strong rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Collect enrollment surveys, consent forms and handle disgruntled customers in a calm and empathetic manner
  • Demonstrates the ability to meet KPI goals set for each day, week and month

Qualifications for the Enrollment Specialist:

  • Strong experience with Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment required
  • Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, healthcare insurance, call center or related field
  • Must be fully bilingual in Spanish
  • Must be proficient in Zoom, Slack, Google Suites and Microsoft office, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Experience working in a start-up environment a plus
  • Working experience in a role measured by KPI’s a plus
  • Must have a secure and quiet work from home space
  • Effective communicator, empathetic and expresses exceptional communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher is preferred
