Our client is a nonprofit organization in Cambridge, MA seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr

Position Overview:

The Executive Assistant provides executive support to the Chief People Office as well as the HR team, ensuring that the functions of the HR office run smoothly and efficiently. This Executive Assistant role will involve occasionally covering the reception desk for the HR office as required.

Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief People Officer and the Human Resources team.
  • Coordinate and manage the calendar, arrange meetings, and schedule appointments.
  • Prepare documents and reports and conduct research as needed.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Manage communications in and out of the office, including mail, phone calls, and emails.
  • Provide receptionist duties as necessary, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and handling inquiries.
  • Coordinate various office tasks and functions to improve office functions and maintain workflows.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications for the Executive Assistant:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and internet research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Nonprofit experience is preferred but not required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
