Client Overview:
Our client is a highly regarded law firm in New York City seeking a professional and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide top-level support to senior partners. The firm is known for its fast-paced, high-performance environment and is looking for an Executive Assistant who can manage complex administrative needs with precision, discretion, and confidence.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40/hr
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will serve as a right-hand partner to attorneys and senior leadership, overseeing scheduling, communication, and documentation. This individual must be highly organized, polished, and comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information. The role requires someone with strong experience, ideally in legal, corporate, or professional services.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Manage complex calendars, meeting schedules, and travel arrangements for attorneys and leadership.
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal correspondence, presentations, and documents.
- Handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Prioritize and respond to incoming calls, emails, and requests.
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and internal staff.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and reports.
- Support senior partners with special projects and case-related tasks.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of proven Executive Assistant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interface with clients and senior executives.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Prior experience supporting attorneys or executives in a law firm or legal environment.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
