Our client is a well-established investment banking firm providing services in advisory, financing, sales and trading, and research. The company is known for its dynamic and collaborative culture, combining hard work with a fun environment. It has a strong reputation in the investment banking sector. Currently, they are looking to add an Executive Assistant to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $105k 

Position Overview:

The Executive Assistant will support a team within a larger group. The role involves managing schedules and administrative tasks for approximately 10 bankers, including Senior Managing Directors, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and junior staff. The Executive Assistants work collaboratively, sharing responsibility. This position requires excellent multitasking abilities and a high level of discretion, as well as the capacity to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will play a key role in ensuring efficient communication and coordination across the team.

Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:

  • Provide high-level administrative support as an Executive Assistant to senior bankers and junior team members.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle expense reports (using Concur, training provided).
  • Collaborate closely with a team of three other Executive Assistants to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a vibrant, personable, and professional demeanor to fit the team’s social and inclusive culture.
  • Support additional projects as opportunities arise for career growth, demonstrating the proactive nature expected of an Executive Assistant.

Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in financial services or investment banking.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple senior executives.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn expense management software (Concur).
  • A bright, pleasant personality with a go-getter attitude and ability to thrive in a social, team-oriented environment, essential traits for an Executive Assistant.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:

  • Prior experience supporting senior-level bankers or executives in a fast-paced financial environment as an Executive Assistant.
  • Ability to take initiative and contribute to team projects beyond standard administrative duties.
