Success in this organization requires an experienced Executive Assistant who has previously supported senior executives in demanding, high-growth tech or similarly rigorous environments and can operate with confidence, speed, and precision.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40/hr – $45/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to directly support either the Chief People Officer or the VP of Operations. This is a high-visibility Executive Assistant role within a fast-paced, high-growth technology organization where ambiguity is the norm and priorities evolve daily. The Executive Assistant will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, creating structure, anticipating needs, and driving operational efficiency in a demanding environment. Candidates without prior experience in high-growth tech or large-scale growth organizations will not be considered.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Own and manage complex, high-volume executive calendars in a high-growth tech environment.
- Proactively prioritize executive time, anticipating conflicts and resolving issues before they arise.
- Act as a central point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring structured, professional communication.
- Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews and communicating with high-priority candidates in a fast-moving organization.
- Assist in planning and executing large-scale organizational events, including team on-sites and leadership meetings.
- Manage operating cadence activities such as Org All Hands and recurring executive syncs.
- Exercise discretion, sound judgment, and composure while supporting senior leaders as a trusted Executive Assistant.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-level or senior executives in a high-growth technology company or similarly rigorous, fast-scaling organization.
- Demonstrated success working with demanding, high-performing executives in environments with constant change and ambiguity.
- Strong intuition and proactive mindset, consistently thinking several steps ahead without waiting for direction.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Highly structured, polished, written, and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders as an Executive Assistant.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Experience as an Executive Assistant within venture-backed tech, fintech, or large-scale growth companies.
- Experience supporting People, Operations, or cross-functional Executive teams.
- Background managing wide-scale events, off-sites, or leadership meetings in high-growth environments.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
