Position Overview:

The Executive Vice President will provide strategic leadership, oversee financial operations, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to support the nonprofit’s mission and growth. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance strategy, fundraising, and operations management.

Responsibilities of the Executive Vice President:

  • Develop and guide a strategic vision that aligns with the organization’s mission and operational capabilities.
  • Foster and sustain important relationships with board members, donors, funders, and partners.
  • Oversee financial management to ensure responsible use of resources and maintain transparency.
  • Develop and maintain funding sources including grants, individual/major donors, contracts, and partnerships.
  • Oversee financial operations, including:
  • Prepare/manage annual operating budget.
  • Reviewe financials for accuracy.
  • Ensure timely processing of receivables/payables and monthly reconciliation.
  • Produce monthly financial reports including year-over-year comparisons and budget vs. actuals.

Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Vice President:

  • Minimum 8 years of non-profit experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of leadership experience.
  • Fundraising and donor relations experience.
  • Strong financial background.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Vice President:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for non-profit management.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
