Client Overview:

Our client is in the business solutions and investment space. They are looking to add an experienced FP&A Analyst. This company is looking for an experienced professional who can grow within the organization and become a key member of the team. Ideally looking for 2 – 4 years of experience with a background in financial planning and analysis, financial analysis, and/or strong accounting.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$35/hr – $40/hr

Position Overview:

The FP&A Analyst will partner closely with the Controller to support senior-level financial analysis, financial reporting, and balance sheet analysis. Interpreting and analyzing data to create accurate reports and analyses. A strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel use is required. This role will be in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on an analytical skill set.

Responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst:

• Analyzing financial data. Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.
• Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
• Overseeing balance sheets and cash flow.
• Retrieving comprehensive financial information and converting it into a pivot table format.
• Financial modeling and extracting data using NetSuite and QuickBooks – working hand-in-hand with the Controller.
• Assisting with ad-hoc analysis, creating reports, and researching applicable information/data.

Required Experience/Skills for the FP&A Analyst:

• Financial analysis and accounting experience. Strong analytical skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the FP&A Analyst:

• Advanced Excel and financial planning and analysis background.
• NetSuite and QuickBooks experience is a big plus.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field and equivalent experience are required.
