Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40 – $45/hr
Position Overview:
The FP&A Consultant will play a pivotal role in providing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical support to our clients. This FP&A Consultant role requires a blend of technical financial expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities of the FP&A Consultant:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and provide insights into business performance
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist clients in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to align financial strategies with business goals and objectives. Provide recommendations for optimizing profitability and operational efficiency
- Data Analysis: Utilize financial modeling, data analytics, and forecasting tools to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique challenges, providing value-added solutions, and delivering exceptional service
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and implement best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications for the FP&A Consultant:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related role
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders effectively
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- CPA or CFA certification is preferred but is not required
