Our client is a rapidly growing, VC-backed organization in the technology/services space seeking an analytical and strategic FP&A Manager to support financial planning, budgeting, and long-term decision-making. The company is known for its collaborative culture, operational excellence, and strong focus on data-driven strategy.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$125k – $150k + Bonus

Position Overview:

The FP&A Manager will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, owning budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, the ability to translate data into insights, and a proactive approach to improving financial rigor across the business. The FP&A Manager will collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, and department leads to drive financial visibility and operational performance.

Responsibilities of the FP&A Manager:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes as the organization’s FP&A Manager.
  • Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
  • Build and optimize detailed financial models to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand business drivers and provide actionable insights.
  • Support executive-level presentations, board materials, and investment analyses.
  • Enhance reporting tools, automation, and financial processes to improve scalability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for departmental budget owners.

Required Experience/Skills for the FP&A Manager:

  • 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related financial analysis experience.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and partner with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the FP&A Manager:

  • Prior experience as an FP&A Manager or Senior Analyst, ready for the next step.
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.).
  • Background in tech, SaaS, manufacturing, or services industries.
  • Experience creating board-level reporting packages.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or CFA is a plus.
