Our client is a dynamic and innovative apparel company with a focus on men’s apparel design and high-quality products. They are now looking for a Freelance Associate Men’s Denim Designer.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$34/hr

Position Overview:

The Freelance Associate Men’s Denim Designer to join the team will be responsible for designer denim. This role is hybrid, and the candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Freelance Associate Men’s Denim Designer:

• Assist in the design and development of men’s denim collections, including concept boards, sketching, and fabric/trims selection
• Research market trends, washes, treatments, and customer preferences to inform seasonal design direction
• Create and update technical design packages, including CADs, line sheets, and tech specs
• Support in fit sessions and sample reviews, providing design feedback in collaboration with technical and production teams

Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Associate Men’s Denim Designer:

• Proven experience in children’s technical designer.
• Must have 3 to 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, & PLM.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Associate Men’s Denim Designer:

• Strong associate design skills in the men’s denim market.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for denim design. 

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
