Our client is a commercial real estate firm and they are seeking a General Manager – Property Management for mixed-use properties.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$120k – $150k plus Bonus
Position Overview:
The General Manager – Property Management is needed to provide leadership, direction, and support to a property operations team to facilitate the effective management of a large urban mixed-use development and deliver superior customer service. This role will work collaboratively to develop the long-term strategy, annual business plans, and operating budget.
Responsibilities of the General Manager – Property Management:
- Conduct meetings and orientations
- Review and provide feedback on retail and office annual survey
- Recruit and select talent for any open positions
- Conduct semi-annual performance reviews for all direct reports
- Implement and maintain associate retention initiatives
- Leverage vendor partnerships Monitor pricing in YieldStar daily
- Create annual budget and staffing plans including business plan, and capital improvement plan
- Update the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan
- Monitor occupancy, leasing percent, pricing, renewals, other income and expenses
- Review and approve monthly financial statement variances
- Review bids from the Service Manager for vendors and negotiate pricing
- Process building insurance claims
- Approve all invoices and contracts
Qualifications for the General Manager – Property Management:
- Senior-level property management experience is essential
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills necessary
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, YieldStar, and LevelOne is preferred
- Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 pounds
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
