- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating pay packages, and closing placements.
- Match clinicians with open assignments based on specialty, location, pay expectations, and client needs.
- Guide candidates through onboarding, credentialing, and compliance requirements, ensuring licenses, certifications, and medical records are current.
- Partner with the Credentialing, Sales, and Operations teams to meet urgent staffing needs.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified clinicians for ongoing and future staffing demands.
- Maintain accurate ATS/CRM documentation and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and Medicare/Medicaid considerations when applicable.
- Maintain consistent communication with clinicians before, during, and after assignments to provide support and drive retention.
- Achieve or exceed recruiting KPIs, placement goals, revenue, and gross profit targets.
- Provide high-quality customer service to traveling clinicians and client partners.
Required Experience/Skills for the Healthcare Recruiter:
- 2 – 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a healthcare staffing agency.
- Demonstrated success in placing travel nurses, home health clinicians, or contract healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing, licensing requirements, and compliance processes.
- Experience using ATS, CRM, VMS platforms, and direct sourcing strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- May require schedule flexibility to support clinicians across time zones.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred (or equivalent staffing experience).
Benefits:
- Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (PTO, Health benefits, Health savings account, Flexible spending accounts, Pet insurance, Paid holidays, 401(K), and Commuter benefits program).
