They are seeking an experienced HR Administrative Assistant to join their team on a short-term contract basis.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $24/hr

Position Overview:

The HR Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role assists with day-to-day HR functions, including onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance support.

Responsibilities of the HR Administrative Assistant:

  • Organize and update employee databases.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and manage documentation and orientation processes for new employees.
  • Process payroll, track leave (sick/vacation), and manage employee benefits information.

Required Experience/Skills for the HR Administrative Assistant:

  • 1 year of hands-on experience in Human Resources.
  • 2+ years of experience providing administrative support.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the HR Administrative Assistant:

  • Prior experience in higher education preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Workday, ADP, or BambooHR.
  • Understanding of state and federal employment laws.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
