Our client, a well-known leader in their industry, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team on a temp to perm basis. Our client works fully onsite, has a great company culture, and has been a long-standing client of ours.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will manage employee relations, talent acquisition, pre-employment screenings, onboarding and new hire orientation, and assist with payroll and benefits. Candidates should be well-versed in HR, with exposure to benefits and payroll. The HR Generalist role is a 37 hrs work week and will be fully onsite.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • Overseeing job postings, interviews, and offer stages for candidates
  • Manage I-9 verifications and pre-employment screenings, conduct new hire orientation and ensure candidates receive all necessary equipment from IT
  • Assist with benefit enrollment, changes in plans, and answer employee questions
  • Work closely with payroll to ensure candidates are paid, proper investments are made, and timesheets are accounted for

Qualifications for the HR Generalist:

  • 2+ yrs of experience in HR
  • Experience with employee relations, performance coaching conversations, and exit interviews
  • Exposure to benefits or payroll required
  • Must be professional, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required
