Client Overview:

Our client is an investment management company and they are now looking for an HR Generalist.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$45/hr – $50/hr

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, with specific experience in employee relations investigations, terminations, and supporting a large non-exempt employee population.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • Serve as a primary resource for employee questions and concerns, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, and termination support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for investigations, performance actions, and terminations.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, ensuring HR processes and communications are clear, current, and compliant.
  • Support compensation and talent management activities, including annual surveys and related initiatives.
  • Assist with HR operations such as benefits, payroll, recruiting coordination, and compliance requirements.
  • Promote a positive, professional work environment while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to employment laws.

Required Experience/Skills for the HR Generalist:

  • Employee relations experience including investigations.
  • Experience with terminations.
  • Experience working with a large non-exempt employee base (real estate, hospitality, retail, maintenance-related industries).

Preferred Experience/Skills for the HR Generalist:

  • Experience with UKG is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new technology and software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
