Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65k – $75k (Depending on experience)
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant is a motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented candidate coming in to support the Human Resources department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in HR and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and posting job ads.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding policies and benefits.
- Help prepare HR-related reports as requested.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations.
- Support the coordination of employee engagement activities and events.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, and data entry.
Required Experience/Skills for the Human Resources Assistant:
- Minimum of 1 year of HR experience in a corporate setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Human Resources Assistant:
- Prior internship or administrative experience in an HR or office setting.
- Familiarity with HR software or systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Workday).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
