Our client is a mission-driven organization is looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to their growing team. 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55k – $65k

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Generalist will be reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This is a vital member of the HR team responsible for supporting core HR functions. This role manages various responsibilities across employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management, while serving as a key resource to employees and management.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist:

  • Act as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries, maintain accurate personnel records, administer benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding; facilitate new hire orientation for a seamless integration experience.
  • Maintain and update HRIS databases (ADP experience a plus), support audits and compliance reporting, and assist with performance evaluations and employee development planning.
  • Assist with employee relations and investigations, support training programs, and contribute to organizational development and continuous HR process improvement.

Required Experience/Skills for the Human Resources Generalist:

  • 5+ years of generalist experience in human resources.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication platforms.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Human Resources Generalist:

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.
  • Experience using HRIS systems, particularly ADP.
  • Background supporting payroll and employee benefits administration.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
