Our client is a family-owned and operated construction company based in Hoboken. They are looking to add an Inside Sales Specialist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50k + Commission

Position Overview:

This family-owned construction company based in Hoboken is looking for their next Inside Sales Specialist to support the sale of their largest product group. This role will focus on a luxury product line and will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships.

Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Specialist:

  • Generating Leads and Following Up: Identifying and nurturing leads through various channels like cold calling, email campaigns, and following up on inquiries.
  • Understanding Customer Needs: Engaging with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and challenges, and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Presenting Products and Services: Effectively communicating the value proposition of products or services to customers, highlighting benefits, and addressing concerns.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiating prices, terms, and conditions to secure sales.
  • Maintaining Customer Relationships: Building rapport and fostering long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Order Processing: Handling order entry, processing payments, and managing customer inquiries related to orders.
  • CRM Management: Utilizing CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain customer records.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Tracking sales performance, identifying trends, and reporting on results to management.

Required Experience/Skills for the Inside Sales Specialist:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customers via phone, email, and other mediums.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate terms, prices, and conditions effectively.
  • Ability to learn how to read a blueprint and easily convert measurements
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, with a focus on understanding customer needs and closing deals.
  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of the company’s products and services and their target market.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
