Client Overview:
Our client is a fast-growing retail and e-commerce company specializing in high-quality consumer goods. Their team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining operational excellence across all channels. Currently, they are looking to add an Inventory Coordinator to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr – $26/hr Depending on experience
Position Overview:
The Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory across the warehouse and retail locations. This position supports inventory control processes, monitors stock levels, assists in cycle counts, and works cross-functionally with the Operations, Merchandising, and Logistics teams.
Responsibilities of the Inventory Coordinator:
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing inventory.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support annual physical inventories.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
Required Experience/Skills for the Inventory Coordinator:
- 1+ year of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Inventory Coordinator:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Familiarity with retail or e-commerce operations.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
