Our client is a global food and beverage company. They are seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage the stock levels of raw materials and finished goods across multiple facilities in the US.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20 – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The ideal Inventory Specialist candidate will have an acute attention to detail and be customer. The Inventory Specialist collaborate with key internal stake holders to identify and resolve discrepancies between systems to reduce service risks in the overall supply chain.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist:

  • Preform root cause analysis on all inventory discrepancies to properly identify and correct the issue
  • Oversee the processing of work orders, material transfers, transport request, and other documents to ensure inventory accuracy across all sites
  • Coordinate the inventory movement data collection process for product recalls
  • Ensure accurate and concise representation of product in inventory software
  • Will be required to run ad-hoc reports/investigations
  • Perform, confirm, and resolve all cycle count discrepancies on a daily basis
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement Inventory-related initiatives

Qualifications for the Inventory Specialist:

  • At least 2 year of relevant experience
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP and IDoc (Inventory) management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain is required
