Our client, a small kitchen designer showroom, is looking for their next Kitchen Designer specializing in European design!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $80k + 50% commission

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Kitchen Designer with 7 years of experience. This role requires a blend of design expertise, technical knowledge, and sales acumen to create an exceptional custom-made kitchen concept for our clientele. In addition to kitchens, our client’s showroom offers premium closet systems and fine European furniture, providing a comprehensive design experience.

Responsibilities of the Kitchen Designer:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and lifestyle, translating them into custom-made kitchen designs.
  • Guide customers through the design process, from concept development to final presentation.
  • Utilize a full understanding of the metric system to create precise and accurate designs.
  • Introduce clients to our premium closet system.
  • Collaborate with the technical office to ensure seamless project execution, including detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of European kitchen brands, materials, finishes, and innovations.
  • Deliver a superior showroom experience that reflects the sophistication and elegance of our European-style environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Kitchen Designer:

  • Proven experience in a European kitchen showroom or design studio.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen planning, space optimization, and high-end materials.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2020 Design, SketchUp, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a passion for design and sales.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, architects, and contractors to bring projects to life.
  • Detail-oriented, with a refined aesthetic sensibility aligned with European design principles.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
