Client Overview:

Our client is a leading name in the consumer goods industry, known for their innovative products and commitment to quality. They are currently looking for a Lab Technician to support their formulation and testing processes.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician will assist in the preparation of product formulations and perform testing to ensure product quality and stability. This role requires attention to detail, familiarity with basic lab techniques, and the ability to follow protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

  • Formulate products based on established procedures.
  • Perform quality and stability tests (e.g., pH, viscosity, color).
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
  • Accurately record test data and maintain lab documentation.
  • The Lab Technician will follow all lab SOPs and safety guidelines.

Required Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician:

  • Completed academic chemistry classes and labs.
  • Understanding of basic lab techniques such as titrations and dilutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician:

  • Up to 2 years of experience in a lab environment.
  • Previous experience as a Lab Technician in a consumer goods or manufacturing setting.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field is required.
