Client Overview:


Our client is a fast-paced cosmetic company focused on creating innovative, high-quality color and personal care products for global brands and is looking to add a Lab Technician (Cosmetics) to their growing team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $28/hr

Position Overview:


The Lab Technician (Cosmetics) will support cosmetic research and development by assisting with formulation, testing, documentation, and daily laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician (Cosmetics):

  • Assist with powder, emulsion, and anhydrous formulation work.
  • Prepare lab batches, weigh raw materials, and create samples and prototypes.
  • Perform basic stability testing (pH, viscosity, color, etc.) and document results.
  • Maintain accurate and organized laboratory documentation.
  • Organize lab equipment, materials, and inventory according to procedures.
  • Support multiple projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician (Cosmetics):

  • 1 – 2 years of experience working as a lab technician or in a laboratory setting.
  • Basic understanding of cosmetic formulation and laboratory practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Lab Technician (Cosmetics):

  • Cosmetic lab technician experience, especially with powder formulations.
  • Knowledge of GMP/GLP and cosmetic regulations.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, or a related field preferred.
