Our client, a well-established law firm based in Northern NJ, is hiring a Legal Billing Manager to oversee their legal billing operations.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$145k – $165k
Position Overview:
The Legal Billing Manager will have oversight of the current team, daily billing activity, and work closely with Attorneys as well as Department Heads. This position reports directly to the Executive team of the law firm.
Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Manager:
- Manage all client billing and discrepancies.
- Assist in the month/quarter-end billing reporting.
- Process billing edits and invoices promptly.
- Lead a team of Billing Analysts.
- Manage electronic billing platforms.
Required Experience/Skills for the Legal Billing Manager:
- Should have 6+ years of prior experience working within a law firm
- Technical with high attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and communicate within the team.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Legal Billing Manager:
- Knowledge of SurePoint software is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
