Client Overview:

Our client is a leading global beverage company specializing in premium brands with a strong presence across international markets. They are looking to add a Logistics Supervisor – 2nd Shift to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$35/hr – $42/hr (Based on relevant experience)

Position Overview:

The Logistics Supervisor – 2nd Shift will lead second shift warehouse operations. This is a contract role designed to support increased operational volume. In this role, you will oversee the seamless flow of inbound and outbound shipments, maintain accurate Finished Goods inventory, including managing and developing a team of unionized employees. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence.

Responsibilities of the Logistics Supervisor – 2nd Shift:

  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including picking, loading, and unloading, to ensure efficiency and accuracy, minimizing detention charges.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Supervise and coach a team of unionized employees. Manage scheduling, time, and attendance to meet operational goals.
  • Build a positive work environment by collaborating with Shop Stewards and maintaining compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring proper upkeep of all equipment.
  • Partner with Finance and Customer Service to ensure accurate inventory availability and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
  • Lead or support special projects as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills for the Logistics Supervisor – 2nd Shift:

  • 5+ years in logistics, warehousing, or transportation (FMCG, beverage, or spirits industry a plus), and 2+ years supervising unionized teams.
  • ERP systems proficiency; advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • OSHA compliance, workplace safety practices, shipping & inventory control procedures.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

Education Requirements: 

  • GED is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
