Our client is a global organization with 100+ years in business who is looking to add a Manager of Financial Reporting to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$140k – $170k
Position Overview:
The Manager of Financial Reporting will lead the organization’s financial reporting process in compliance with GAAP as well as internal policies. This high-visibility role is ideal for a CPA with a background in public accounting, preferably with Big 4 experience—who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage the coordination and execution of year-end audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors.
- Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the company’s financial reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other business units to support accurate and timely reporting.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle the reconciliations of consolidations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Manager of Financial Reporting:
- 6 – 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with financial systems and tools.
- Experience implementing new accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, etc.).
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Manager of Financial Reporting:
- Active CPA designation highly preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
