Our client is a growing company within the food vertical, managing multiple private brands and focused on delivering quality products to the professional food trade. Their team values creativity, collaboration, and strong brand-building initiatives. Currently, they are looking to add a Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical) to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Up to $65k Annually, Based on experience
Position Overview:
The Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical) plays a critical role in supporting brand development through strong graphic design. This Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical) will work closely alongside the Marketing Manager to create compelling brand literature, packaging, and visual marketing materials that drive brand awareness and growth. Exceptional design skills are a must for this Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical) role.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical):
- Develop and manage brand literature, labels, packaging, and visual presentations with high-quality design.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with brand managers, sales, purchasing, and repacking teams to support product launches.
- Support trade show planning, signage design, packing, and setup.
- Create and contribute engaging social media posts and track marketing results.
- Assist with company website updates and analytics tracking.
- Drive brand recognition and awareness across multiple private labels.
Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical):
- 1 to 3 years professional marketing and graphic design experience.
- Strong professional portfolio demonstrating design expertise.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a must.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office for Mac (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Canva.
- Experience with HubSpot.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing Assistant (Food Vertical):
- Background in the food or CPG industry.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field is required.
