Our client is a large and rapidly growing regional healthcare company looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join and assist their ever-growing team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19 – $20/hr

Position Overview:

The Medical Biller will be responsible for the accurate application of all payments in a timely manner. Medical Biller candidates must be motivated and able to work in a high-volume, fast-pace environment.

Responsibilities of the Medical Biller:

  • Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies
  • Research and perform all secondary billing
  • Ensure appropriate supporting documentation is received and completed
  • Review and recommend claims for adjustment/write off to management
  • Accurate and timely processing of claims
  • Analyze and update claims submitted and rejected
  • Payment Posting
  • Insurance follow ups

Qualifications for the Medical Biller:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with collections of past due claims
  • Experience in a high-volume setting
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team setting

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
