Client Overview:
Our client is an international pharmaceutical company that is looking to add a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician (Part-Time, Day shift) to their growing team in MA.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40/hr – $45/hr, Depending on experience
Position Overview:
The Medical Laboratory Technician (Part-Time, Day Shift) will conduct various lab tests and support general laboratory operations. This position requires experience in clinical or medical lab settings and familiarity with regulatory standards such as CLIA, GCP, and GLP. This is a days shift. part-time role for 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician (Part-Time, Day Shift):
- Perform high complexity testing in areas such as clinical chemistry, hematology, and coagulation.
- Conduct manual differentials and precise pipetting for sample analysis.
- The Medical Laboratory Technician (Part-Time, Day Shift) will maintain and calibrate lab instruments.
- Follow established protocols and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, GCP, GLP).
- Assist in training and mentoring junior lab staff.
- Accurately document and report laboratory results.
Required Experience/Skills for the Medical Laboratory Technician (Part-Time, Day Shift):
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical or medical laboratory.
- 2+ years in a CLIA environment.
- Experience in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and pipetting.
- The Medical Laboratory Technician (Part-Time, Day Shift) should have knowledge of GCP and GLP standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work 20 hours a week, during the day.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Medical Laboratory Technician:
- Eligibility or certification through ASCP.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related science is required.
