They are now looking for a Merchandise Planner.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr- $35/hr

Position Overview:

The Merchandise Planner is responsible for developing and executing strategic merchandise plans to drive sales, optimize inventory, and maximize profitability. This Merchandise Planner role involves analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and collaborating with buying, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.

Responsibilities of the Merchandise Planner:

  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
  • Develop and manage merchandise financial plans and open-to-buy budgets.
  • Partner with buyers to align product assortments with business goals.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, in-stock levels, and markdown strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.

Required Experience/Skills for the Merchandise Planner:

  • 3+ years of Merchandise Planning.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with planning software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and commercial awareness.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field.
