With over 40 brands across categories, they are committed to creating high-quality, consumer-right, and market-right products across apparel, swimwear, golf, and lifestyle segments. They are currently expanding their team and looking to bring on a Merchandiser – Swimwear.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$85k – $90k Annually

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for the Merchandiser – Swimwear role will join the Swimwear division, focused on men’s products. This role is responsible for driving consumer-right and market-right product plans, capitalizing on consumer insights, marketplace opportunities, and delivering against business objectives. The Merchandiser – Swimwear will partner closely with Design, Development, and Commercial teams to execute seasonal strategies, create compelling product assortments, and deliver excellence in fit, style, and innovation.

Responsibilities of the Merchandiser – Swimwear:

  • Translate athlete and consumer insights into clear and executable merchandising plans.
  • Build and maintain 3-year and seasonal product line plans.
  • Deliver product briefs and ensure alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Design, Development, and Commercial teams to deliver relevant, high-quality products.
  • Conduct marketplace, trend, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Own key product gates, including product briefs, line plan handoff, and seasonal alignment.
  • Manage product systems of record, including PLM, line plan, and costing logs.
  • Support go-to-market execution and collaborate with sales and account teams.

Required Experience/Skills for the Merchandiser – Swimwear:

  • 3+ years of merchandising experience in apparel or related categories.
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes in apparel, swimwear, or intimates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and influence.
  • Strong financial acumen and retail math proficiency.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Illustrator.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Merchandiser – Swimwear:

  • Background in men’s or women’s swimwear, activewear, intimates, or lifestyle apparel.
  • Strong understanding of sport performance and lifestyle industries.
  • Proven ability to deliver consumer-right product with a strong aesthetic eye.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field is preferred.
