Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr
Position Overview:
The Office Coordinator will manage the front desk and take lead in the office event scheduling and planning. This Office Coordinator position offers opportunity for long-term growth. We are looking for a candidate with a warm demeanor and friendly attitude to manage the front desk of a cutting-edge advertising firm. Responsibilities of the Office Coordinator:
- Manage a welcoming and efficient reception function for an office of 50 employees.
- Answer the telephone line and direct callers.
- Proactively manage meeting activity in conference rooms, maintain schedules, and coordinate with building security for guests.
- Support the effective and organized day-to-day operation of the office.
- Manage office supplies (inventory and ordering) and coordinate service vendors (phone, email, etc.).
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
- Oversee housekeeping tasks, in shared office spaces like the kitchen and supply room.
- Lead the coordination of key recurring meetings or events.
- Work with leadership for calendar management and event scheduling.
- Assist with arranging logistics for handouts, presentations, and food, attending meetings, and taking notes to prepare formal written meeting.
- Take on project management responsibilities for company outings and events.
Required Experience/Skills for the Office Coordinator:
- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, Office Coordinator, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and time-management skills.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
