One of our clients within real estate is looking to bring on an Office Support/Receptionist to be the face of their NYC office. This Office Support/Receptionist should be very personable, hardworking, and open to taking on additional duties outside of the Office Support/Reception position. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr – $25hr

Position Overview:

The Office Support/Receptionist at this real estate company should have a friendly and welcoming personality as they are greeting clients and employees that come into the office daily. As the face of the company, the Office Support/Receptionist should be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and feels comfortable multitasking. The Office Support/Receptionist will be responsible for answering phones and appropriately delegating calls to the right people. The Support/Receptionist will also be responsible for coordinating calendar invites, keeping the office and front office area clean, and offering refreshments to guests. This Office Support/Receptionist will also be responsible for supporting in-house events. This Office Support/Receptionist will also be responsible for other administrative ad-hoc duties that arise.

Responsibilities of the Office Support/Receptionist:

  • Greet clients professionally and warmly.
  • Manage a busy phone line by answering, routing calls, and taking messages as appropriate.
  • Support in-house events.
  • Calendar management in Outlook.
  • Coordinate facilities-related issues.
  • Provide administrative support duties as needed for executives, including arranging travel.
  • Order supplies and manage inventory for the office as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Office Support/Receptionist:

  • 2+ years in a Receptionist position.
  • Professional and welcoming concierge-like demeanor. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Office Support/Receptionist:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
