Our client is a globally recognized luxury fashion house specializing in high-end ready-to-wear and premium materials. They are looking to add an Operations Associate (Luxury Retail) to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28/hr – 30/hr + Bonus

Position Overview:

The Operations Associate (Luxury Retail) will support the daily operations of the boutique. This individual will ensure seamless back-of-house processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and support the sales team in delivering an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities of the Operations Associate (Luxury Retail):

  • Support daily operations, including receiving, tagging, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Perform regular and as-needed cycle counts to reduce shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all product movement is performed accurately and packaged according to company standards.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping, including client orders and inter-store transfers.
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation related to inventory movements.
  • Support the execution of visual merchandising directives by preparing products and maintaining standards throughout the day.
  • Partner with store leadership on inventory reporting and recommend solutions to operational issues.
  • Communicate with corporate partners regarding product needs, discrepancies, or operational concerns.
  • Manage and maintain adequate supply levels, including packaging materials, to support daily operations.
  • Assist the sales team by locating and retrieving alternate sizes, colors, and styles to enhance the client experience.
  • Support store leadership in maintaining boutique standards, including facilities and maintenance needs.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge to support sales, reduce discrepancies, and ensure shipping accuracy.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and other operational tasks as directed.
  • Support and help lead the physical inventory process in partnership with store leadership.
  • Consistently follow company policies and demonstrate professionalism and accountability.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork to achieve shared goals.

Required Experience/Skills for the Operations Associate (Luxury Retail):

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an operations-focused role.
  • Experience working in an elevated retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Operations Associate (Luxury Retail):

  • Experience in luxury retail operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory accuracy initiatives and shrink reduction strategies.
  • RFID Experience is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
