Position Overview:

The Part-Time Human Resources Benefits Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering our employee benefits programs. This Part-Time Human Resources Benefits Administrator role requires a thorough understanding of benefits administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional support to our employees.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Human Resources Benefits Administrator:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits changes to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits information.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and vendors to manage benefits plans effectively.
  • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Prepare and distribute benefits communication materials.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the annual benefits renewal process and open enrollment period.
  • Analyze and report on benefits usage and trends to inform decision-making.

Required Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Human Resources Benefits Administrator:

  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and benefits administration software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
