Client Overview:
Our client is a well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to support their Payroll Operations team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr
Position Overview:
The Payroll Administrator will provide administrative and clerical support in accurately and efficiently processing payroll. This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Review and verify employee timekeeping records for accuracy.
- Perform high-volume data entry and maintain payroll files.
- Support payroll audits and compliance requirements by ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Generate basic reports to support payroll and HR functions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Payroll Administrator:
- 1+ years of clerical, accounting, or payroll-related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry systems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Payroll Administrator:
- Prior payroll or timekeeping system experience
- Experience supporting multi-state payroll processes
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
