Our client is a global provider of innovative solutions supporting the pharmaceutical industry. They have a dynamic work environment as well as professional atmosphere. Currently, they are looking to add a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70k – $85k Annually
Position Overview:
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and optimization. This is a great opportunity for a technically skilled leader ready to guide a small team and make an impact through operational excellence and reliability engineering.
Responsibilities of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor:
- Lead and supervise all maintenance operations, including staff training, performance management, and day-to-day technical support.
- Maintain and troubleshoot purified water systems, plant utilities (compressed air, steam, water), and liquid blending process equipment to meet production and compliance standards.
- Oversee and perform PMs, repairs, and system upgrades to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure maintenance logs, work orders, and safety records are accurate and compliant with cGMP and Data Integrity practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QA, and Engineering teams to schedule maintenance and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Drive safety & continuous improvement by promoting safe work practices and identifying opportunities for equipment and process optimization.
Required Experience/Skills for the Plant Maintenance Supervisor:
- 5+ years in equipment maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment; supervisory or lead tech experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and process control knowledge, particularly with water purification and blending systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and reduce downtime.
- Clear communicator with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Familiar with cGMP, FDA, or other regulatory standards.
- On-call availability is expected to support critical systems outside of standard hours.
- Weekend or holiday work may be required for shutdowns, audits, or emergency response.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience is required.
