Client Overview:
Our client is a mission-driven retail brand passionate about sustainability, conscious consumerism, and creating memorable in-store experiences. Their pop-up shops bring their values to life through community, education, and high-quality, eco-friendly products. Currently, they are looking to add a Pop-Up Retail Supervisor to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$28/hr – $33/hr (Based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Pop-Up Retail Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their upcoming retail pop-up running from September through December. A 4-week training period will begin in August. This role is ideal for someone with a background in store openings or pop-up retail who is passionate about sustainability and customer experience.
Responsibilities of the Pop-Up Retail Supervisor:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the pop-up shop.
- Assist in shop setup and launch in late August.
- Train and supervise part-time staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build community engagement.
- Oversee inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
- Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the space.
- Report daily sales and operational updates.
Required Experience/Skills for the Pop-Up Retail Supervisor:
- Retail or shop management experience.
- Experience with new store openings and/or pop-up shop setups.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology and POS systems.
- Ability to work weekends and key retail dates (e.g., Black Friday).
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Pop-Up Retail Supervisor:
- Passion or background in sustainability, eco-conscious brands, or environmental activism.
- Previous experience managing small teams.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
