Atrium is working with a leader in the manufacturing space that is looking to add a Pricing & Financial Analyst to their team. This is a very family-friendly organization and will be a part of a well-oiled Accounting department, which is headed up by a great Controller who is extremely hands-on with his team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k – $85k plus Bonus
Position Overview:
This Pricing & Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting pricing strategy development, conducting financial analyses, and delivering insights that drive profitability and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret market data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
Responsibilities of the Pricing & Financial Analyst:
- The Pricing & Financial Analyst will develop, maintain, and analyze pricing models to optimize profitability and market competitiveness.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including margin analysis, cost modeling, and scenario planning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to evaluate pricing strategies and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
- Prepare financial forecasts, variance analyses, and business performance reports for leadership.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- The Pricing & Financial Analyst will assist in developing business cases for new pricing initiatives, products, or services.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used in pricing models and reports.
Required Experience/Skills for the Pricing & Financial Analyst:
- Minimum of 2 years in a financial analysis, pricing, or related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling).
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Pricing & Financial Analyst:
- Experience with ERP or pricing software
- Exposure to market research and competitive intelligence.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools or data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
