Our client is a food manufacturer known for producing high-quality products in a strict quality and safety environment. They are looking to add a Production Supervisor to work from 4:30 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Friday.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k – $95k Depending on experience
Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor will lead Production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role oversees daily operations, develops team members, and drives results through strong leadership and problem-solving.
Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate production employees to meet output goals.
- Train and coach team members.
- Manage production schedules and adjust priorities as needed.
- The Production Supervisor will ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and process improvements.
- Track performance data and resolve issues quickly.
Required Experience/Skills for the Production Supervisor:
- The Production Supervisor should be bilingual in Spanish.
- 5+ years of food manufacturing experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work the hybrid shift, which is from 4:30 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to work overtime/weekends when needed.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Production Supervisor:
- Food manufacturing background.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or process improvement.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science, or equivalent work experience, is required.
